Addis Ababa, August 23/2024 (ENA)  A Nation that plants; a Generation that Sustains. As citizens regardless of all backgrounds are showing strong commitment to leave their green footprints for generations to come, children are also part of this historic event and they will have stories to share to the next generation about the 600 million tree planting underway today. Millions of Ethiopians all over the country are turning out since early morning to break their own planting record. The Green Legacy Initiative of Ethiopia is underway for the past five years aspiring to plant 50 billion seedlings by 2026 in two phases.
