FM ππππ’π¨π§ Holds Talks with ππ‘π’π§ππ¬π ππ¦πππ¬π¬πππ¨π« ππ¨ πππ‘π’π¨π©π’π
Addis Ababa November 12/2024 (ENA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos held discussions with Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Ambassador Chen Hai in the early hours of this afternoon.
FM Gedion recalled the strong and unwavering βAll Weather Strategic Partnershipβ between Ethiopia and China, emphasizing the commitment to elevate this robust relationship to a higher level.
The Minister also highlighted that efforts are underway to implement the directions set during the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) summit to further strengthen Ethio-China relations.
He also briefed the Ambassador on the current situation in the Horn of Africa, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ethiopia collaborates with China not only on a bilateral level but also multilaterally, particularly on issues of peace and security in the Horn of Africa, Gedion added.
On his part Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Chen Hai delivered a congratulatory message sent by the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Ambassador also expressed his commitment to working toward the implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of the two nations during the FOCAC meetings on economic, trade, and investment sectors.
