Ethiopia, Kyrgyz Republic Agree to Work Closely on Multilateral Forums
Addis Ababa January 15/2025 (ENA) -- Ethiopia and Kyrgyz Republic have agreed to work closely on multilateral forums within the framework of south-south cooperation.
Ethiopia's State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga held talks with Asein Isaev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, at his office today.
On the occasion, Ambassador Mesganu emphasized Ethiopia's continued commitment to enhancing bilateral ties with the Kyrgyz Republic.
He highlighted Ethiopia's interest in exploring areas of cooperation and encouraged the Kyrgyz Republic to consider opening an embassy in Ethiopia.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Asein Isaev, on his part, delivered a message from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov, to the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Taye Atske-Selassie.
He also presented draft Memoranda of Understandings designed to enhance collaboration across multiple sectors.
The two sides have agreed to work closely on multilateral forums within the framework of south-south cooperation, according to Foreign Affairs Ministry.
