Ethiopia, UK Vow to Cement Cooperation in Various Spheres

Addis Ababa, February 20, 2025 (ENA)—Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga conferred with UK's visiting Special Envoy for the Red Sea and Horn of Africa, Alison Blackburne.

On the occasion, they discussed further enhancing longstanding cooperation between Ethiopia and the United Kingdom in bilateral, regional and multilateral issues of shared interest.

 

They particularly discussed ways of further strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment and development in their bilateral engagements through political consultations and joint ministerial commissions.

The dignitaries also exchanged views on ways Ethiopia and the UK could enhance cooperation in the peace and security of the region.
